KJ, are you ready for bed?

Month 5

KJ is getting to be such a big boy! This month he visited our church daycare for the first time and stayed without Mommy and Daddy for the entire 11am service! I think it was harder for us than for him. He is also sleeping through the night now, in his own crib! HIP HIP!

Month 4

This month KJ got a new person to love and to love on him! Mommy started back to work (part-time) and now Miss Kyla watches him while she's gone. They have grown quite close, as Miss Kyla holds or plays with him the entire time. We think she spoils him mercilessly:)

Month 3

KJ traveled again in the month of January! This time by airplane to California! He got to see Grandmommy and PapaLo again and meet his Grandma (Akilah's Stepmom) and his Uncles Jordan and Jonah. He had lunch with Auntie LaRhonza and cousins Toni, Ellie, and Victor. He also met his Great Uncles Butch and Charles and Aunt Roberta and cousin Jennifer. It was a whirlwind week for all of us!

Month 2

At 5 weeks the KJ show hit the road! We traveled to Minnesota for Thanksgiving and Christmas! KJ loved meeting his Aunts Kathryn and Shimeca and his cousins Kylan and Kamren. When we got back home his Aunt Carol, Uncle Ricky and Cousin Masai came to visit all the way from California! KJ also met his Grandpa (Akilah's Dad) when he came to Atlanta for a quick visit just to hold him!

Month 1

KJ's first month was eventful! He had visits from his Great Grandmommy and Grandaddy (Akilah's grandparents), his Great Gran (Kenneth's Grandmother), his Grandmommy and PapaLo (Akilah's Mom and Stepdad), his Neena and Papa (Kenneth's Mom and Dad), and his Uncle Keary (Kenneth's Brother)! We also had visits from lots of other friends and neighbors from around Atlanta! Thanks to all for the yummy food and helpful advice that got us through the first few days at home.
